When it come to a profession it is very important to set a standard of living which is different from the daily living. For the same reason SSM Infotech Pvt. Ltd had conducted a workshop on "Business Etiquette & Professionalism & Its Importance for Growing Organization" held at date 8th June 2018 .



This blog shows the moments that were created during the workshop and few topics that were covered in the workshop.

What is business etiquette?

Nothing is less important than which fork you use. Etiquette is the science of living. It embraces everything. It is ethics. It is honor.”

Business etiquette is a collection of ways that a profession accepts or requires. It is often maintained by custom, implemented by an organization's employees. Those who break the etiquette of company are regarded as offensive. The punishment for such conduct often resides in other members of the organization's disapproval.Business etiquette is essential because it generates an atmosphere of respect and communication that enables an office to be a productive location. When people feel respected, they feel better about their employment and that also means better relations with our customers.

Enhanced corporate etiquette

Better etiquette for your company can have a beneficial effect on your career. Note that common courtesy is used. Take the "you" attitude, first take the requirements and emotions of others into account. This conduct contributes to excellent manners and common courtesy, enhancing your company label.

Ethical Principles to be followed in Businesses to bring Professionalism

Integrity Instead of maximizing earnings, this principle is tested whenever the pressure is high. Managers must show bravery and personal integrity by doing what they believe is correct.These are the upright, honorable principles. You must fight for your faith. They won't be hypocritical or experienced for these values.

Loyalty Without confidence, no ethical conduct can be promoted. And loyalty must be shown for confidence. Managers must remain faithful to the organizations and to the individual and be worthy of this faith. In the moment of adversity, there should be friendship and support and dedication to the task. You should not use or communicate private data. This leads to trust in the company. They must preserve an employee's capacity, by avoiding impact or conflict of interest, to decide independently.

Honesty No ethical behavior can be promoted without trust. And faithfulness has to be shown to trust. Managers must stay trustworthy to and worthy of organisations and individuals. Friendship, support and commitment to the assignment should occur in the time of adversity. Private data should not be used or transmitted. This gives the business confidence. You must maintain the ability of an employee to decide separately by avoiding effect or conflict of interest.

Fairness Managers do not only need to be honest in all matters, but should not use their authority incorrectly. In order to achieve any kind of benefit, they should not attempt to use each other inappropriately. They should also not take an unfair benefit from anything or the errors of other people. Fair individuals tend to be fairer and to guarantee that individuals are treated equally. You should be tolerant, open-minded, ready to acknowledge your errors. Managers should also be able to modify their positions and views on the basis of the scenario.

Leadership Any manager should be a leader for others, if he is ethical. They should be in a position to manage the tasks. Due to their situation, you should know the possibilities. Managers must be a model for others to play.

Respect and Concern

These are two types of conduct in the organisation that are inherently distinct. But they're going in tandem that's why they've been placed on one principle. He is sympathetic, kind and caring when the executive is ethical. There is a golden rule that says it helps those in need. In addition, pursue their achievements in such a way as to achieve the company's company goals. Furthermore, managers must demonstrate regard for the dignity, privacy, independence and rights of the employee. The interests of all those whose choices are at stake must be maintained by him. They must be courteous and treat the individual fairly and correctly. The workshop was a very interactive and activities were carried out as seen below.
